First, you are better off finding a good independent dealer that has sold T-Mobile for at least five years when siginging up or to pay simple mobile. A good dealer can help you ten times more than Simple Mobile themselves to pay simple mobile or for activations or any other item. We work with the product on a daily basis at the end user level. We offer extensive knowledge of how to make your phone work with all the features offered by Simple Mobile including how to pay simple mobile. Expect to pay more for the Sim Card from a dealer and perhaps an activation fee, as well. This will be a good investment because if you need help the dealer can trouble shoot the problem first hand and can either solve it immediately or offer another product that may be a better fit (Red Pocket, H2o, Boost, etc.). If the dealer cannot help you then that dealer should not be in this business. To provide a good experience for the majority of our customers and minimize capacity issues and degradation in network performance we may take measures including temporarily reducing data throughput for a subset of customers who use a disproportionate amount of bandwidth. Additionally, in the event that a customer is in violation of the Permissible and Prohibited Data Uses listed above, we may reduce your data speed for the remainder of that billing cycle or terminate data service without notice or refund. What's great about it: You are using T-Mo's network for less than T-Mo with the sim card. What's not so great: You are using T-Mo's network. I had my T-Mobile phone unlocked and switched to Simple Mobile. The service was identical as far as I could tell and the cost of the service was less. Simple Mobile was offering unlimited talk, text, and data for $50 a month for a while, then dropped to 2.5GB a month. They e-mailed me stating they were listening to their customers when they capped their data. It's still not a bad deal, but I'm pretty sure customers were not contacting the good folks at Simple Mobile to say their data allowance was too high. Used Simple Mobile while on vacation on the US west coast, and east coast. Phone coverage is good but data coverage is mediocre compared to larger US networks like AT&T and Verizon. Plus, make sure you have an AWS-band-supported phone (1700mhz) otherwise forget 3G/4G/BS-marketingG coverage at all, you'll be stuck using EDGE data speeds. But for $40/mo. on a non-contract service, does that really matter? If you're like me, that's less than HALF what a regular cell phone bill is at home even on contract, and less than a QUARTER what your home carrier will mug you for in roaming charges for the same service. I am in NYC and I bought the 4G unlimited. Not once in 2 weeks have I ever experienced 4G about 90% I dont even get 3G I am on snail Edge internet in the middle of NYC!!! This is a total waste of time will be moving to Verizon. Waste of $70. Avoid.
